Ciconiidae Handbags - Swiss Made Luxury Handbags Atelier 8

THE ATELIER
OF CICONIIDAE

The story of leather in Kastanienbaum lives on. Just a few minutes’ walk from the former tannery stands today’s Ciconiidae atelier.

This is where the life of each handbag begins – not as an industrial sketch, but as a vision, drawn by hand, translated into leather, and completed with care. What was once tanned, weighed, and inspected is now transformed into fine craftsmanship – shaped by precision, deep material knowledge, and time.

Every model is created from the ground up in the atelier:

From the very first sketch to the final finish, from the cutting of the leather to the setting of gemstones and the last stitch – each bag is born here.
